The word 'Arise' in white stylized font on a black background. Below, it reads 'healing from abuse & control' in a smaller, simpler font.

Arise is a safe and supportive faith-based community for women who are in or have been in abusive or controlling relationships. We offer understanding, connection, and resources to help you heal, grow stronger, and find hope again.

No matter the type of abuse or control—physical, emotional, verbal, narcissistic, sexual, financial, or spiritual—there is hope, and healing is possible. We offer confidential, faith-based support for anyone seeking clarity, freedom, healing, and hope. Whether you’re in an abusive or controlling relationship, healing from one, or supporting someone who is, we’re here to walk alongside you.

Our support includes:

Resources & Referrals: Guidance and connections for anyone currently in or affected by an abusive or controlling relationship.

Women’s Support Group: A safe, faith-based community where women encourage, pray, and walk together toward clarity, freedom, and healing. Meets Tuesdays at 7:00 PM in Room 202 at Grace Church, Middleburg Heights.

Freedom & Safety Planning: If you’re considering leaving an abusive or controlling relationship—or need support after leaving—we’ll help you create a plan for safety and stability.

Advocacy/Mentoring: Advocacy & Mentoring: Work one-on-one with a trained domestic violence advocate who will walk alongside you as you navigate an abusive or controlling relationship.

Education & Awareness: Learn to recognize abuse and control in relationships, understand their impact, break the cycle, and support others who are affected.
