• Structure: Two nine-month terms, Aug–May (25 hrs/week)
 • Ministry Focus: Choose one area of concentration while getting experience in many other ministry areas.
 • Character Formation: Develop both skills and godly character as you grow to be a servant leader in the local church.
 • Training: Opportunity to complete School of Ministry (through the Alliance Center for Leadership Development) while completing residency (value of $3,200; requires an additional 8-12 hours/week to complete).
 • Support: Receive $500/month stipend to help cover expenses (most residents also work a part-time job to supplement income and/or are going through the School of Ministry during residency).
 • Housing: Housing is not included, but we will work to help you find housing if you are coming from outside the Cleveland area.

Prepare for Your Next Step. Experienced leaders are invested in your ministry journey. You’ll have a ministry coach and ministry leaders in your corner as you train and prepare to launch into vocational ministry. 

Access Broad Ministry Experiences. At Grace Church, we have the privilege and opportunity to minister and worship with people from a diverse body of believers from many different cultures, ethnicities, language groups, ages, and life experiences. 

Grow in Spiritual Maturity. Learning to be spiritually healthy amid the demands of vocational ministry is incredibly important for your longevity and health in ministry. You’ll meet with your cohort weekly and grow together in spiritual formation as you learn to depend on the Holy Spirit and the community of the Church.

Level up Your Leadership Skills and Grow in Your Spiritual Gifts. You’ll learn and practice your unique spiritual gifts in real-life discipleship interactions while discovering how your gifting works alongside the gifts of others to strengthen the local church.
