What do you want Jesus to do for you?
In Mark 10:46–52, Jesus encounters a blind man named Bartimaeus and asks a question that exposes faith, clarity, and trust. Though Bartimaeus couldn’t see, he perceived his moment with Jesus and responded with boldness. Even when his need seemed obvious, Jesus made him name what he wanted — revealing what he truly believed.
This message explores how our perception shapes our response to Jesus, why clarity in prayer matters, and how answered prayers often bring responsibility and change. The story doesn’t end with healing — it ends with following Jesus. Receiving what we want is never the end of the story.
