The Care Home Ministry
We bring church, community, and personal encouragement to residents in assisted living and nursing homes through services, visits, and prayer.
At Grace Church, our Congregational Care Ministries extend a compassionate hand to our congregation by offering practical support, spiritual encouragement, and relational connection during life’s hardest seasons. From providing short‑term emergency relief and financial coaching to visiting the homebound, supporting grieving families, offering computer help, organizing card‑making for encouragement, and facilitating DivorceCare, our goal is clear: to embody Christ’s love and serve His people with dignity and grace. Whether it's preparing a meal, providing a ride, or offering one‑on‑one care, we walk alongside you, praying with you and meeting tangible needs in your life.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4
If you’re a member or regular attendee of Grace Church, and you are in need of support through a difficult season, please reach out to us! We’ll be praying for you, and we’ll also see if we can meet some of your practical needs during this time.

Please join us to make greeting cards for the congregation and community. We make cards for the Friendship Group at Grace Church, local nursing homes and other ministries. No experience is needed. Join us for fellowship, fun and serving the Lord.
Friendly tech support for seniors who need help with computers, phones, or basic digital tasks.
helps individuals and families build a healthy financial foundation. We offer guidance for budgeting, managing debt, and planning for long-term financial stability. When needed, you can meet with a trained financial counselor at no cost to create a personalized plan and move toward financial freedom.
Our Homebound Friends Ministry cares for individuals who are unable to leave their homes. Volunteers are paired with a homebound friend to offer regular visits, encouragement, and connection. It’s a simple way to remind someone they’re seen, valued, and not alone.
Our Hospital Ministry cares for individuals before, during, and after a hospital stay. We offer phone calls, visits, and prayer to support physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. It’s a steady reminder that you’re not facing this season alone.
Our Meals Ministry provides practical support for individuals and families who don’t have a strong support system in a challenging season. Whether someone is grieving, recovering from injury or hospitalization, or welcoming a new baby, volunteers deliver meals to offer care, comfort, and encouragement.
Our Handyman Help Ministry provides no-cost or low-cost minor home repairs for those facing financial need. Volunteers assist with small projects that can be completed in about two hours, serving seniors, single women, disabled individuals, and special-needs families at Grace Church. It’s a practical way to offer safety, support, and care right at home.
Our Transportation Ministry helps individuals who need a ride to church, medical appointments, or essential errands. Volunteers provide safe, reliable transportation for those who would otherwise struggle to get where they need to go.
We match donated, reliable vehicles with individuals and families at Grace Church who need transportation. You can donate a car or request a vehicle through our team, and we’ll guide you through each step of the process.
As a caring community, Grace Church maintains a way to assist regular attenders who are in extreme or urgent financial need by providing short-term material help, biblical guidance, and spiritual support for long-term financial health. The goal is to help families experience the full measure of God’s blessing and provision in every aspect of life. God enjoys blessing those who live to please him, obey his commands, and seek him for every need. When the Philippian believers honored God with their money, he promised to provide for their needs.
How to apply for assistance:

2. Complete and submit the online Application for Financial Assistance.
3. E-mail copies of bills/invoices to [email protected]. Bills must be in the name of the person who is requesting assistance. Failure to provide the required documents delays the process.

Do you have a need that we can bring before the Lord in prayer? God’s Word tells us to, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). Allow us to pray for you with whatever is on your heart. Submit your request and it will be placed on our Wednesday Mid-Week Connection prayer list.
