Dear Grace Family,

It was a true joy to journey through the How to be Human series together. I was encouraged to hear so much feedback about how God spoke, challenged, and encouraged many in our church to take steps towards health in their relationship with Him and others. We’ll continue to pursue what it looks like to live out our faith in real time and in real ways with one another. Even though the series is done, I’m eager to see what Jesus will continue to do in our midst.

There are a number of exciting things happening this weekend at our church including our youth event The Move and our last Forever Young gathering of the year (where Rachel and I will be speaking). There will be more to share soon but I want to highlight one specific opportunity that connects directly to our recent series and gives us a chance to live it out together.

We’ll be joining together for our Worship Night on Wednesday, May 27th at 7 p.m. at our Middleburg Heights campus. That night we’ll have extended times of singing as well as a clear focus on prayer for healing. Remember what we just learned–worship is about our highest thought and priority meeting our energy and focus. Since Jesus is our Lord as well as the source of all the good in our lives, we can take concentrated time to turn our attention to him in prayer, singing, reflection, and maybe even get a little fired up about it. Let’s continue to live out our calling to be a church of worshippers who encounter the living God.

And, we also can live out that value of a community of faith as we pray for one another, hear about healing, and let faith rise together that the same God who raised Jesus from the grave is alive in us! (Romans 8:11) While we submit ourselves to God’s will in humility, we also come with expectation that He still speaks and will still meet us in our need. Hope you’ll consider joining us for that worship night but I also encourage you to live this out every day.

Friends, God is stirring in our midst. I keep hearing stories of lives changed and people experiencing more depth in their relationship with Him. I’m praying for more! Can’t wait to worship with you again on Sunday.

Grateful,

Pastor Tim
