Dear Grace Family,

I love it when we get to experience God together like we did on Sunday. It’s one thing to learn doctrine like Jesus being our Healer but to know that He’s speaking, acting, graciously meeting us, is another thing altogether. I’m so grateful that Jesus reaches out, like he did with the guy who had leprosy and touches people’s hearts and minds and even physical pain and infirmities.

And, thank you for taking this opportunity seriously, not only to be prayed for, but to pray in faith for others, in kindness and in love. I heard from one whose granddaughter went forward for prayer and it was a visitor from another country who ended up praying for her! That’s the body of Christ being activated and caring for one another. Praise God!

We continue in this moment of concentrated prayer and like William Carey, the father of modern missions, we want to “attempt great things for God and expect great things from God!” Don’t forget to sign up for your slot to pray during our 94 hours of prayer here. That week we’ll be in the prayer room, online, in small groups, and in homes praying for our church, our country, our world, and ourselves and asking that Jesus will have His way in us.

We have a few other exciting things coming! Here’s just a taste:

Youth Winter Retreat | Grades 6–12 held on February 13-15 (Register by February 4) Join the youth crew for one of the most impactful weekends of the year at Pleasant Valley Ranch. Our 2026 Winter Retreat theme is FREE—because God doesn’t just save us, He sets us free. Free from shame, fear, and striving. Free for joy, purpose, and life with Him. Students can expect powerful worship, meaningful teaching, unforgettable cabin time, and plenty of fun—all with space to encounter God in a real and personal way. Find out more and register here.

 Baptism Service | February 22

If you have trusted Jesus for your salvation and you’re ready to take this public step of affirming your faith in baptism, please consider being baptized on February 22nd.. Maybe you’re a new believer, someone who was baptized as a baby and now making that decision on your own, or someone who has never taken this step, we’d love for you to move forward in faith! There is a brief class in preparation and you can find out all of the information here.

Finally, Grace Church is led by a team of Elders—who serve 3-year terms to give oversight to the spiritual guidance of Grace Church (see 1 Timothy 3:1-7; 1 Peter 5:1-4). If you would like to nominate a person for this role, the Nominating Committee will be prayerfully discerning candidates in the coming weeks. See the nomination form here.

Continue to trust God today. He’s always speaking, He’s always acting. The question is: what is He saying to you today? And, what will you do in response?

 With you in faith,

 Pastor Tim
