Participate with us this Easter!
Welcome to the most unusual April we’ve ever had! Those with kids are all home-schooling, people are learning all about WFH (work from home), Zoom has become part of everyday language…we could say lots more. Most of all, my prayer is that we’ll all look back on this season as a time of significant growth in our personal lives.
Mary and I share in this brief video message about a few things we’re doing to stay emotionally and physically healthy, as well as a way we’d love for you to participate creatively in our Easter services.
Last week we talked about finances at Grace, and I’m grateful to say that our church family is responding generously once again. With significant budget cuts, our giving as a church family covered the expenses for March. We’re so thankful!
The homepage of our website remains the place to visit for online worship services, requests for help, or to volunteer in serving. Our staff team is responding to emails and phone calls; feel free to be in touch. We’ve been moved by the hundreds of phone calls people are making to check in and pray with people, the creative ways they’re blessing neighbors, and the kindness being shown to medical personnel. I’ll share a few examples in my message this Sunday.
There are two invitations in our video greetings to you today: a picture of you holding a Before & After sign for Easter, and pics of an online small group. You can send either/both of those to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Grateful for you, and love from the Schaeffer home to yours!
