October 30 2020 – A Note from PJ

Hi friend–

Baptism services have always been a highlight at Grace, giving further evidence of how Jesus is actively at work today! For the last decade, we’ve averaged about 200 people taking that step each year. In addition to our excitement on those days, I like to imagine the scene in heaven as well! A public declaration as a follower and friend of Jesus is one of the first ways to show our love for him.

Our next baptism service is 9 days away, on Nov. 8. If you’re asking yourself, “is baptism for me?”, I’d like to encourage you to reach out to us by visiting gracecma.org/baptism. When you sign up, we’ll send you more information about the next steps. You’ll have new joy in knowing you’ve obeyed this command of Jesus!

With a significant election just days away, thanks for your continued prayers for the Lord’s grace and guidance to be evident in our nation. My message this Sunday will share some ways that the Bible says we can “shine like stars” in the world today.

Thinking of services this weekend, just a reminder that you get an extra hour this Saturday night, as we “fall back” one hour! Services are at 9 & 11 am at Middleburg, and 10 am at Olmsted, or online on YouTube, Facebook or live.gracecma.org.

There’s a special event for families this weekend. Click HERE for details and to┬áregister! Finally, thanks to each one who is continuing to make an impact locally and globally through faithful and generous giving. I continue to stand in awe at how the Lord fulfills his promise when we honor him in our giving (see Proverbs 3:9-10; Malachi 3:10; Luke 6:38). Anyone can make an online gift here.

Whether you feel it’s best for you to join us onsite or online, we thank the Lord for you and are cheering you on!

Grateful to be teamed with you!
