October 17 2020 – Update from PJ + Mary

Hi friend–

I hope you’ve been able to enjoy the beauty of fall in Northeast Ohio. Spectacular, isn’t it?! Mary & I took a bike ride in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park yesterday, one of our favorite outdoor places. I was reminded of the truth in Romans 1:20:

Since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–
his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen.

That same God came into our world to show his incredible love, which we’ll remember in communion tomorrow in all of our services, indoor at Middleburg (9 & 11 am) and outdoor at Olmsted (5 pm). See details here. This will be the final outdoor service before moving indoors at Olmsted next Sunday, October 25. As always, you can join us online on YouTube, Facebook or live.gracecma.org.  Whichever way you engage, we’re grateful to be worshiping the Creator with you!

We’ve welcomed a number of babies into our church family the last several weeks, as well as grieved the loss of some members who have passed. If we’ve missed someone, please let us know.

Our women’s retreat, “Simply a day away,” is happening today (you may not have heard much notice of that as they quickly sold out). Would you pray that they would experience the Lord’s presence in their gathering?

So thankful for a Creator who promises to make his home in us, the moment we trust in him.
