November 6 2020 – Update from PJ + Mary
These are unsettled days; Mary and I take 2.5 minutes here to share a couple of truths to hold onto in stormy times.
Lots of great things are happening at Grace; you can find this week’s bulletin here.
In these days of post-election analysis, are you pointing to Jesus? As we consider what to post on social media or via email or in conversation with family and friends, let’s keep in mind the admonition of Scripture: “Be kind and compassionate to one another…” (Ephesians 4:32). We don’t want to look back and regret words that were spoken without love. I’m often reminded of Proverbs 10:19- “When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.” Let’s use caution and love those around us, especially those with whom we may disagree. After all, our highest goal is to honor and reflect the One who gave his life for us.
Trusting our King Jesus with you,
Pastor Jonathan Schaeffer
