November 28 2020 – A Note from PJ
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving despite maybe having a different holiday than anticipated. In addition to a delicious dinner, Mary and I had a fun Zoom call with all of our children…with gratitude for being able to connect from 4 different states. Love that free technology :).
This Sunday, we’ll have communion in each of our services (at both campuses; you can register here). I’ll be wrapping up one of my favorite letters in the New Testament with a message titled, “A Secret and a Promise.” Hope you can join us either onsite, or on YouTube, Facebook, or live.gracecma.org. For each one who continues to give generously, thank you! We’re grateful for all who have been able to continue giving so that our impact can grow. Anyone can make an online gift here.
As I close, I invite you to pray with me this prayer from the Bible app. Each line in blue is a link to a Scripture verse.
God, You are good, and Your steadfast love endures forever! Even in the hardest seasons, I always have a reason to worship You.
And so no matter what the future may hold, I will shout for joy because You are with me. You comfort me and bless me in the presence of my enemies. Nothing compares to You and no weapon can stand against You. In all things, I am more than a conqueror through You!
Be glorified through me, God. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart bless Your name.
I want my life to bring You praise.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Grateful for Jesus and the privilege of belonging to Him,
Pastor Jonathan Schaeffer
