Note from PJ – September 4
There are currently 90+ high school students and 20+ adult leaders at Camp Patmos for their Fall Retreat. We’ve seen God use these weekends to significantly and positively change the course of students’ lives. Would you take a moment now and ask the Lord to do it again?
We’re having a Worship Night to kick off our fall launch this coming Wednesday, September 7th, at 7pm (Middleburg campus). It’s spiritually healthy to say to ourselves, with the psalmist: “Praise the Lord, I tell myself. Let all that I am praise the Lord” (Psalm 103:1-2, NLT). Pastor Jelani and the team will be leading that evening, and we’re praying it will be an evening where many are encouraged and sense the presence of the Lord.
Our new Adult Classes will launch the week of September 11. There are many gifted teachers in our Grace family, and this fall quarter you can learn more about a topic or a book of the Bible at our fall classes. Take a look at the full list of classes available HERE.
And, check below for details on the simulcast leadership conference, Live2Lead, that we’ll be hosting at Grace on Friday, October 7. Dr. Tim Elmore is just one of the speakers we’ll hear from; he’s a follower of Jesus who has a passion for leader development and has consulted with corporations such as Home Depot, Delta Global, Chick-fil-A, Coca-Cola, and more. He’s also spoken at top-tier universities such as Stanford, Texas, Duke, and The Ohio State University. Grace church members can register using this link: www.live2leadcle.com or www.changinglivesfound.org/live2lead.
We’re grateful for all who have been giving so that our impact can grow! Anyone can make an online gift here, or you can place your offering in the black boxes at the worship center doors or stop by during the week.
