June 20, 2021 Note from PJ
What a gift it is that you and I get to call God “our Father.” He is perfectly good, constantly loving, and completely powerful. May we never forget the privilege we have in approaching him at any time about anything, just like Jesus taught us to pray (Matthew 6:6,9).
As we celebrate Father’s Day tomorrow, we’ll be having Child Dedications in each of our services, and a picture booth in the lobby for those who would like to remember the day together. I’ll be giving the message on how we can best respond “When tough times come.”
With the great weather comes lots of activities for various groups at Grace: youth outings, kids’ camp, softball, and more. This past Thursday, we had the first classic car show of the season at the Middleburg Heights campus. One of the leaders wrote, “We had 383 cars today! Best start ever. And just one major crisis…we sold out of ice cream!” A crisis, indeed. Feel free to stop by any Thursday evening; the goal is to show kindness to our community and to communicate the love of Jesus in eveery way we can.
We’re grateful for all who have been giving so that our impact can grow. Anyone can make an online gift here, can place your offering in the boxes at the worship center doors, or stop by during the week.
Hope you have a great weekend. Love from Mary, too!
