Hi friend–

I want to say how thankful I am for all the fathers and father figures who are making significant relational investments. And, we also acknowledge those who are reminded today of the father they have lost or the godly father they did not have. God uses our fathers to shape our lives in amazing ways, and he also can redeem all our hurts and grief. I’m praying today that we will all have a greater sense of being seen and loved by our Father in Heaven, who is always near and whose promises are always kept.

Our worship teams are prepared to lead us tomorrow, and we’ll have a message on one of the traps to avoid in building strong relationships of trust. There will also be a feature in the lobby to celebrate fathers and father figures.

Thanks again to each person at Grace who is honoring the Lord with their financial generosity (2 Corinthians 8:7). Just in the first five months of this year, 182 people gave for the first time to Grace, and many of them set up recurring giving! That journey of generosity is just a glimpse of the work God is doing in their lives! For anyone who wants to get started, simply click here to set up a giving schedule.

We have our outdoor baptism service set for Sunday, August 25, and hope you can join us for that time together at Beulah Beach! Our times together on the shores of Lake Erie have been so special over the years. If you’d like to take the step of baptism, you can sign up here. We’ve already had 80 people this year who have publicly declared their faith in Jesus by being baptized!

So grateful for the new life we have because of Jesus. His grace is limitless, and his love beyond our comprehension (Zephaniah 3:17).

Your brother and friend because of Him,

Jonathan
