Then moving forward through the prophecy of the LORD’s servant (Christ) foretold, fulfilled and the future glory yet to come. So much more than history, it gives us deeper insight into our LORD, proclaiming His power, sovereignty, majesty, love and unrelenting patience. Jeremiah: Leading in a Corrupt World Phil Karayan

How do you handle adversity and the grind of life?  Can you stand on God’s side when the world rejects you? God gave the world a powerful example in the life of Jeremiah the prophet. Jeremiah boldly stood for the LORD opposing the kings and the false prophets of his day.  As the nation of Judah practiced child sacrifice and the worship of the queen of heaven, Jeremiah did not flinch in calling them out for rebellion against God.  Jeremiah’s world in many ways parallels our society as the nation of Judah looked for hope and meaning apart from God.

Jeremiah was God’s beacon of light in the darkness. He proclaimed God’s plan to Jerusalem, rejecting military and political power. He demonstrated the only hope was in the Messiah (Christ) and His Kingdom, the Kingdom of God.  Jeremiah is an example of how to live boldly in the midst of a corrupt and fallen world.  In this class we will learn:

  • About the life and times of Jeremiah
  • How to live godly in a wicked world
  • How to live with hope and vision
  • How to trust God in the depths of despair
  • The Messianic hope and the Kingdom of God
  • Jeremiah’s views on the End Times

The Passion of God Lee Arnold

The Bible is comprised of 66 books, written by about 40 authors, covering a span of over 1600 years, yet amazingly enough, it has one central theme: God’s passionate desire to have a relationship with us. In this class we will explore the Bible, beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation, stopping each week to focus on passages which emphasize that central theme. We will begin by looking at the original relationship God had with mankind, how it was lost, and the many Bible passages (in chronological order from cover to cover) that show God’s never ending passionate pursuit of restoring that relationship. If you are newer to the Bible, this is a great class to see the big picture as we do an overview of the Bible. If you are familiar with the Bible, it is a great opportunity to dig deeper as we discover how God passionately desires a deeper relationship with each one of us.

Thirty years in the making, Audacious is a deep dive into the message that has compelled Beth Moore to serve women around the globe. Glancing over the years of ministry behind her and strengthening her resolve to the call before her, she came to the realization that her vision for women was incomplete. It lacked something they were aching for. Something Jesus was longing for. Beth identifies that missing link by digging through Scripture, unearthing life experiences, and spotlighting a turning point with the capacity to infuse any life with holy passion and purpose. What was missing? Well, let's just say, it's audacious and it's for all of us. And it's the path to the life you were born to live. Please join us in this vision and together let’s grab hold of His purpose in our lives. Book available - $8.
