Small Group Leader Training Fall Cohort
August 15 at 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Love, grow, and serve together! Grace small groups are a way for individuals to connect and do life with others as followers of Jesus. Small Group Leaders are willing facilitators who want to love the Lord with all of their heart, soul, strength, and mind, and their neighbor as themselves. Perhaps God is calling you to be intentional and purposeful in your serve and invest in others for such a time as this. Find out more at our workshop!
New and current leaders, will have the opportunity to participate in all of these four sessions:
- Session I: Group Care – Goal for this session: We want leaders to shepherd people well and be proactive about situations they may face. Pastor Dennis Barta, Pastor of Congregational Care
- Session II: Group Content – Goal for this session: We want leaders to use the sermon-based content or another curriculum to its fullest potential and understand how to move from knowledge to application and beyond. Dawn Bentley, Small Groups Curriculum Writer
- Session III: Group Craft – Goal for this session: We want leaders to know they have a network of leaders and share best practices and strategies that have worked for them. Various Leaders

*Attending the orientation does not obligate you to lead a group. A continental breakfast will be served as you arrive. There will also be a photographer taking pictures of leaders for our website.
