A child dedication is a joyful time in service when parents acknowledge God’s incredible blessing of children as a gift from God (Psalm 127:3).
It’s also a serious public commitment that parents make before God, their family members and their church family, expressing publicly the desire to lead and spiritually nurture their children to love God and love others.
At a child dedication service, a ministry staff member will pray with you and your family on the platform, and then a Pastor will lead the church family in prayer for all the children at that service. If there’s a specific ministry staff member you’d like to be your family’s prayer partner, you can request them in the sign-up form.
