A Note from PJ

Hi friend–

There have been good discussions on the topic of forgiveness since the message this past Sunday. I’m so grateful for the unlimited grace of Jesus, to remove our sins and to help us pass along forgiveness to others. To dig in a bit more, you can check out a familiar voice on

Apple Podcasts or Spotify talking about the “Price of Unforgiveness.”

I’d love for you to pray for me as I speak this Sunday on a key topic of winning the battle over temptation and demonic strongholds. We’re in a spiritual battle and I have no doubt the Enemy will be eager to keep people from the victory that Jesus has won for all of us.

A few events this weekend that you might be interested in:

  • Facility Friday happens this morning and every Friday from 10-2, an opportunity to help maintain our facility and make friends in the process (and get some steps on your Fitbit!). Check out the details here.
  • Simply Worship is for women of all ages and is designed to help you focus on getting into God’s presence to be renewed and refreshed through song and worship. Tonight from 7-9pm at Middleburg.  No registration needed.
  • Our sister church in Brunswick, Hope Church (1905 Pearl Rd), will have a free viewing of the “Lifemark” movie at 7 pm tonight (Friday). The movie tells an inspiring story of adoption.
  • Check the calendar for lots of other ways to connect and grow.

One final note. You may know someone who senses a call to vocational ministry and would like to gain some hands-on experience. If so, the Grace Greenhouse Residency (GGR) program offers the opportunity to gain holistic ministry training through foundational theological studies and practical application. For more info about the program, just head over to the GGR webpage at gracecma.org/residency or email residency@gracecm.org.

Let’s take a moment and read the verse at the top again…what a great Redeemer we have!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Jonathan
