Oct 31, 2021 – Note from PJ
And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? – Matthew 5:47a
I always appreciate hearing feedback from newcomers at Grace.
It helps our team to affirm what’s going well and to improve where we can. We often hear notes about the friendliness of the church family, how meaningful a worship service was, and the size of Grace.
This week one person wrote in: “Service was so peaceful and we enjoyed ourselves while having the children in kids’ classes! So thank you for that. We will deff be returning looking forward to our new journey at Grace as a family.”
While it’s hard to know just who is new to Grace, we can all reach out and welcome others.
It’s just one way we can reflect Jesus to one another. I love how one of our team members suggested we do this, practicing “The 3-2-1” each week.
3. Introduce yourself to three new people.
2. Have two conversations with people you know.
1. Pray with one person.
How about you? Whether you’re watching online, or mingling in the lobby after service, are you up for trying 3-2-1 this weekend?
At least five times in the New Testament, we are told to “greet one another” (Romans 16:16; 1 Corinthians 16:20; 2 Corinthians 12:12; 1 Peter 5:14; Matthew 5:47). Let’s do “3-2-1 care” and see what kind of impact the Lord makes through us!
Looking forward to our time together this Sunday!
Thankful to be part of the same team, same family with you.
