John 1:14 says Christ was “full of grace and truth”.    It is our desire that this Biblical perspective will guide us in our looking at the various aspects of LGBT+ and the church to better understand how Christ would have each of us respond  - in Grace and Truth.

John 8: 1-11 is the story of the crowd, demanding the condemnation of the woman caught in adultery, being humbled by Jesus.  “let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone !......   When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest….and Jesus said, neither do I condemn you,  Go and sin no more.”

We see here that transformation for the accusers begins with the dropping of their rocks.
That action opens the door for the woman to also experience transformation.  Jesus offered each one in attendance that day his gift of Truth and Grace.  Did they accept his gift?  We don’t know.  But we do know that he offers the same gifts to us today.   How will we respond?  May we each grow in humility and loving and living as Jesus does – in the fullness of grace and truth.

The following is the Christian & Missionary Alliance' official statement regarding Human Sexuality.

The basis for this official statement of The Christian and Missionary Alliance is found in Article 1 of its Statement of Faith.

“The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice.”
