Grace Recovery Programs

What is recovery?

Recovery is the process of restoring what sin has taken away. Recovery means moving from a self-centered lifestyle to a Christ-centered lifestyle. You are not alone! The truth is, many people who deeply love God and desire to live for him struggle with addictions and compulsive behaviors. Who ever you are, wherever you have been, you are a person of infinite worth because God created you and because He loves you. Through recovery, you can become the unique human being that God designed you to be and live a Christ-honoring lifestyle that you tried to satisfy with your addictions and compulsions.

Our Christ-centered recovery groups offer the opportunity to join with others who have similar struggles. Together we experience the life-changing journey into recovery and restoration.  Join us as we share our experience, strength and hope in Christ as we make the life-changing journey into recovery and restoration. Our groups adhere to the 12-step principles of recovery and do not conflict with, nor compete with, other recovery programs.

Are these groups right for me?

It does not matter why you come, nor does it matter where you are in your recovery. Many of us have been where you are and know how difficult it is to take steps into recovery. We believe that the Christ-centered 12 steps, if applied as principles in your life, can and will improve the quality of your life. We have experienced men and women being set free from addictions to drugs, alcohol, lust, pornography, anger, codependency, compulsive food issues, and more.  It is our prayer that, by sharing our experience, strength and hope, You will experience the amazing healing power of Jesus Christ. We would be privileged to walk with you as you discover the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Grace recovery groups are self-help groups and are led by volunteers who have long-term recovery. We encourage everyone who has a desire to recover and has taken steps in their personal walk to volunteer for some form of service in the group. We believe that giving back is an essential component of recovery, strengthens the individual, and builds the leadership necessary to sustain the groups.

What to expect

Meetings open with a scripture and prayer. Next, we take time to allow people opportunity to share any major problems they may be facing, before moving into the discussion.

We study traditional recovery steps from a Christ-centered perspective through discussion using a variety of ways. For example you may be led through recovery facts and tools discussion, or what the bible says about a particular phase of recovery. You may hear a teaching from a guest speaker or pastor or may learn from someone sharing their testimony. The meeting ends with coffee and fellowship.
