What is a small group? Small Groups are a way for individuals to connect and do life with others as followers of Jesus. These in-home fellowships of 8-12 people are led by trained leaders and hosts and typically last 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours. Light refreshments are generally included.

The vision at Grace Church is to see individuals plugged into thriving communities where they can grow with others as followers of Jesus.

The goal is to grow in one’s relationship with the Lord, and to do so with a group of friends that can “do life” together. Small Groups are a great place to discuss how to practically apply God’s Word to our lives and to care for one another.

The sermon based strategy allows Christians to avoid being overfed and under-exercised. By discussing the weekend message in a sermon-based small group community, we will seek to live out our biblical intake.Through prayer, encouragement, accountability, and service, we’ll be healthier individually and as a church body. This will naturally encourage greater participation in the life of the Church.

How important are small groups? At Grace Church, we believe that community is the essence of loving, growing, and serving one another. By searching and studying Scripture together in Small Groups, we simultaneously fulfill both the Great Commission and Great Commandment and have a network of godly fellowship.

How can I be part of the Small Groups Ministry? The Small Groups Ministry provides opportunities for individuals to love, grow, and serve in the ways they are gifted.
