Fall Women’s Bible Classes:

Saturday 9:30am

Saturday Morning Women’s Bible Study - Rm. 35
Teacher:  Marsha Durken Hallin
Our Saturday Morning Women’s Bible Study group welcomes you to join us as we engage in Bible study, conversation, prayer, and, of course, coffee. We will be looking at these two topics from a Bible study by Babbie Mason, “Embraced by God” - you are equipped with unique gifts and talents and you can live loved.

We will then move to a study of one of the books of the Bible. We will dive into a book of the Bible that our group decides upon together.

So, we welcome you to join us as we finish up these two topics from our Babbie Mason study, and then help us choose one of the 66 books in the Bible to study next.

You can find us every Saturday in room 35 (lower level), enjoying a time with God from 9:30 to 11:30am.  You are not only welcome, but you are also INVITED.

Come and grow in faith with other women who are on the same journey.

Wednesday 7:00pm

Breathe: Making Room for Sabbath by Priscilla Shirer - Rm. 201
Teacher: Giorgia Stevenson
One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking time to cease from all the activities and just breathe. We are in bondage to busyness. We constantly strive to complete the limitless to-do lists that hinder us from experiencing all that God has for us. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God’s greatest gifts. In the Old Testament, Sabbath was given to the Israelites as a gift, and it is still a gift to us today. If you are weary, worn out, and exhausted, then the concept of Sabbath will change your life.

Crash the Chatterbox: Hearing God's Voice Above All Others by Steven Furtick - Rm. 203
Teacher: Deborah Dobson
Is your mind bombarded with constant chatter that goes something like this: I can’t . . . I won’t . . . I’m not . . . I never . . . Do you hear it too? Those worthless lies of insecurity, fear, shame, condemnation, and discouragement can overwhelm us to the point that we feel hopeless and helpless to fight. We can’t silence the negative chatter, but we can learn to make a daily choice to hear God’s voice above the rest and learn to Crash the Chatterbox. Join us as we learn how to hear God’s voice above all others and embrace the life God has called us to live. Purchase book:  https://amzn.to/2MkGCin

The Good and Beautiful God - Rm. 201
Leader:  Peggi Tustan
What does being Christlike really mean? Author James Smith believes we need a pattern for transformation. He encourages us to re-examine what we think about God (our narratives), how we practice (the spiritual disciplines), and whom we interact with (our social context) to discover the life Jesus lived and grow in the knowledge of a good God.
